National Institute of Ayurveda, Panchkula Celebrates Sports & Cultural Events with Grand Annual Prize Distribution Ceremony

Panchkula, 23 December: The National Institute of Ayurveda (NIA), Panchkula successfully organized a vibrant series of Sports and Cultural Events, fostering a spirit of enthusiasm, teamwork, and holistic development among students, faculty, and staff. 

The celebrations concluded on a high note with a Grand Annual Prize Distribution Programme, marking a memorable culmination of talent, discipline, and dedication.
The Sports Events witnessed energetic participation in various indoor and outdoor games, showcasing physical fitness, sportsmanship, and competitive spirit among the participants. The Sports event organized between 08.12.2025 to 10.12.2025 by Sports Committee Chairman Dr. Sameet Masand and his team members ensured smooth conduct of the event with proper arrangements and safety measures. The sports event witnessed enthusiastic participation from students, faculty members, and staff  in various indoor and outdoor games, including athletics, badminton, volleyball, cricket, Carrom Board, Table Tennis and Chess. The vibrant atmosphere reflected the spirit of unity, energy, and healthy competition on the campus.

The Cultural event organized between 11.12.2025 to 12.12.2025 by Cultural Committee Chairman Prof. Prahlad Raghu and his team members ensured smooth conduct of the event. The Cultural Events provided a dynamic platform for students to express their creativity through music, dance, drama, and other artistic performances, reflecting India’s rich cultural heritage and youthful vibrancy.

The concluding Annual Prize Distribution Ceremony was held on 13.12.2025 in a dignified and celebratory atmosphere. Winners and participants of the sports and cultural competitions were felicitated with prizes and certificates in recognition of their outstanding performances. 

The event was graced by Honorable Vice Chancellor Prof. Sanjeev Sharma, Dean (Academic & Administration) Dr. Gulab Chand Pamnani, Joint Director of Administration Sh. Jai Prakash Sharma, Deputy Director of Administration Sh. Chander Shekhar, faculty members, administrative and other staff, who applauded the efforts and achievements of the students.

Addressing the gathering, the dignitaries emphasized the importance of extracurricular activities in shaping well-rounded professionals and highlighted that such events play a vital role in promoting discipline, leadership, cultural values, and mental well-being alongside academic excellence.
